For a student who holds a Master degree

Option 1.1

A student must present an acceptable thesis and pass an oral examination in the field of specialization for a minimum of 60 credits.

A student who has fulfilled the requirements of the program and of the Graduate School will be awarded the Doctor of Philosophy in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology.

Students must take 2310894 Doctoral Dissertation Seminar every semester.

Option 2.1

The program consists of 6 credits of required courses, 4 credits of required elective courses and 2 credits of elective courses.

A student must present an acceptable thesis and pass an oral examination in the field of specialization for a minimum of 48 credits.

A student who has fulfilled the requirements of the program and of the Graduate School will be awarded the Doctor of Philosophy in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology.

For a student who holds a Bachelor degree

Option 1.2

A student must present an acceptable thesis and pass an oral examination in the field of specialization for a minimum of 72 credits.

A student who has fulfilled the requirements of the program and of the Graduate School will be awarded the Doctor of Philosophy in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology.

Students must take 2310894 Doctoral Dissertation Seminar every semester.

Option 2.2 

for a student who graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry degree within the last five years.

The program consists of 11 credits of required courses, 6 credits of required elective courses and 7 credits of elective courses.

A student must present an acceptable thesis and pass an oral examination in the field of specialization for a minimum of 48 credits.

A student who has fulfilled the requirements of the program and of the Graduate School will be awarded the Doctor of Philosophy in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology.
